BTC TO BE FULFILLED FROM 2005

Baku, IAA "Trend" April 14 corr. P.Kesamanski

The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline will be fulfilled with oil starting in January 2005, David Woodward, BP Azerbaijani President, told a news conference on Wednesday.

He said the fulfillment of the pipeline would be possible only after production of first oil from the Central Azeri field and readiness of necessary infrastructure.

Woodward noted two months were needed to fulfill the pipeline and it would be possible to expect delivery of the fist tanker with Azeri oil from Ceyhan starting in May 2005.

He did not exclude that production of first oil from the Central Azeri field could be achieved ahead of the schedule.

Speaking on oil need for fulfilling BTC, Woodward stressed it would be produced from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) contract area.

As to oil production from the Chirag field BP Azerbaijan President its volume forecasted for 2005 would not differ from 2004 figure
