KAZAKH INDUSTRIAL OUTPUT UP 9 PERCENT IN
FIRST QUARTER
Industrial output increased by about 9 per cent in January-March
this year in Kazakhstan, Interfax-Kazakhstan reported on 7
April.
"The volume of industrial output increased by about
9 per cent in the first quarter of this year," the agency
said, quoting Prime Minister Daniyal Akhmetov at a government
meeting in Astana yesterday.
Last year's figure for the period under review was 10.4 per
cent, the report added.
